Mike Michalak (2019)

Mike Michalak is a Catholic husband, father, and entrepreneur.

He married his best friend 31 years ago. Mike and his wife,Penny, try to live out their Catholic faith in all aspects of their life. They are the proud parents of 16 children, including 10 by adoption. They also have 2 grandchildren with one more on the way. He is the President of Mipenico Inc. which he began with his wife In 1989. They currently operate 15 Little Caesar’s Pizza locations and employ nearly 400 employees.

Mike and Penny also founded Immaculata Classical Academy in Louisville in 2010. It has now grown to almost 200 students. They founded Angels in Disguise in 2010. It is a 501c3 charity to help celebrate “The gift of Down syndrome”. Four of their children have Down syndrome. They also are coordinators of the Louisville Archdiocesan Marian Committee.
